Our History

From atelier to attitude

CTWLK's story began in 1992, when Stephen Detry founded the brand under the name Catwalk, creating shoes in small Italian ateliers driven by a passion for craftsmanship and quality.

Together with his lifelong partner Stephanie, the brand grew into a well-established name with the Benelux fashion scene throughout the 1990s and early 2000s - recognised for refined design, strong materials and a loyal community.

In 2015, sons Gilles and Junot Detry relaunched the brand, bringing a new energy while staying true to its DNA. Production shifted to specialized ateliers in Spain, strengthening both quality and accessibility.

By 2017, CTWLK introduced its first men's collection.

In 2019, the brand officially evolved into CTWLK - marking a new chapter that reflects movement, modernity and a confident step forward, while Catwalk remained dedicated to the dressed women's line.

Today, CTWLK is proudly Belgian designed, European crafted, and worn by growing community across the Benelux, France, Germany and the UK.
