Our History

From atelier to attitude

CTWLK is a continuation of a family obsession with quality footwear that started more than thirty years ago in Belgium.

What began in small Italian ateliers, driven by a passion for craftsmanship and timeless design. We became a multigenerational family story.
When sons Gilles and Junot Detry took over in 2015, they didn't reinvent. They deepened it.
Production moved to specialised ateliers in Spain and Portugal, a men's collection followed in 2017, and in 2019 the brand became CTWLK: a confident step forward built on three decades of European shoemaking heritage.

Today, CTWLK is proudly Belgian designed, European crafted, and worn by a growing community across Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and the UK: for people who value quality over quantity, and experiences over things.
